OBD Boy is another OBD2 ELM327 application available on Google Play. It is a work in progress; however, it is incapable of altering the communication networks of your vehicle since ELM327 cannot write to them.

The development of OBD Boy was initiated due to issues with the developer's own car. As progress was made, it became apparent that this particular vehicle requires different electronics and software to retrieve data than what can be achieved with ELM327. Potential advancements are anticipated in future updates following the acquisition of an OBD simulating device, as virtual devices have proven to be ineffective.
